Game History

This is only the second game between the Dragons and Jaguars, and the first time the Jefferson team has played on the East side. The only matchup between these two teams came on Oct.  23, 2020, when the Jaguars lost at Jefferson 49-0.

Who’s Hot

These players are looking to keep their hot streak ignited.

Sammy Brown – HB – Jefferson

Brown, who transferred to Jefferson this offseason from Commerce, was an unstoppable force last Friday against East Hall, as he rushed 8 times and picked up 162 yards and a pair of trips to the end zone. He’s looking to make an impact, and lead the Dragons to a victory.

Mandrell Glenn – QB – Cedar Shoals

Glenn, coming off of his second game with more than 100 passing yards this season, has played above expectations. He’s been able to find his receiver when the team needs it most. He’s also shown potential with his ground game, getting a season high 19 yards on 6 rushes against Madison County last week.

Final Statement

Jefferson is a powerhouse, but that doesn’t make them truly unbeatable. The Dragons rely on the running game, so the clock will keep running. Their ground game will really test the Jaguar offense to see if they’re ready to climb the ranks or not.
