Cedar Shoals graduation 2022

On Friday, May 27, Cedar Shoals High School graduates held their graduation at the Stegeman Coliseum. The ceremony included student speakers such as valedictorian Hadiza Sarr and salutatorian Jacob Weiszer.

“Stay true to yourself. We will be stepping out of the statement of predictable high school where we encountered the same people that we’ve known for most of our lives. Some of us will be going to Dartmouth, or West Point, or Wofford or Athens Tech. Whether the distance is 10 miles or 1000, we will be encountering new experiences. Embrace its unpredictability, adapt and grow. But do not change who you are to fit a status quo or to be accepted by others,” Sarr spoke to the graduating class during her speech.
