The University of Georgia Gymdogs defeated Auburn Tigers 197.550-196.050 on Feb. 1. The Gymdogs had high scores around, with multiple 9.950s and 9.975s. Overall UGA had the higher score in vault, with a 49.475, bars with a 49.300, and floor at 49.600. Much of UGA’s success came from focusing on the details in practice, according to junior Ady Wahl. “In the gym I focused on making my routines look sharp and clean. At this point in the season it is all about the details, so we have really been honing in on that at practice,” Wahl said. Photos and story by Katie Kulik.
