8-AAAAA Region Meet Preview
The Jaguars are preparing to run their final 2019 meet in Helen, Georgia: the 8-AAAAA Region Championship. After an underwhelming 5th place finish at the Clarke-Oconee Area Cross Country Championship meet, the Jags hope to get redemption, with Joshua Williams and Weenta James hoping to qualify for state individually.
There are six teams running the meet: Cedar Shoals, Loganville, Clarke Central, Buford, Johnson, and Walnut Grove. With multiple key runners, the competition is expected to be fierce. The top four teams will continue on to state. The Jaguars hope to improve from last meet’s 5th place finish.
These are the projected best runners at every school for the 8-AAAAA Region Championship.
